I'm the person you call when you're googling "is this normal" at 2 am and you're tired of getting an answer from a stranger on the internet.

My job is to help you stop white-knuckling your way through the hardest, most disorienting season of your life and start trusting yourself again.

I do this through EMDR, CBT, and Interpersonal Therapy, built specifically around what it's like pre-delivery through the fourth trimester.

it's an honor to be called on.

...i'm here when you're ready

this work found me

why i work with new moms

I didn't set out to specialize in postpartum work. I set out to be a generalist therapist, the kind who sees a little bit of everything.

Then a close friend had her first baby, and I watched her disappear into a version of "fine" that wasn't fine at all... showing up to every group text with a smiling photo, and telling me privately, at 11pm, that she didn't recognize herself anymore.

She wasn't in crisis.

She just needed someone to tell her the truth: that this is hard, that she wasn't failing, and that she didn't have to do it alone
. I couldn't find her that person fast enough.

So I decided to become that person for someone else.

the ins and outs of working together

In our first session, I want to understand what your day looks like (because you are more than a laundry list of symptoms).

we start with the real story

establish where you are

one that might include EMDR for the intrusive thoughts, CBT for the guilt loop, or IPT for the relationship and identity shifts

then we build a plan together

name where you want to go

Postpartum isn't static, and neither is our work together. Each stage is a different set of good, bad, and ugly that we get to work through!

we adjust as our work evolves

each session builds on the next

a bit about my approach

credentials + caring? yes!

I want you to feel like you're meeting a friend for coffee... one who challenges you and won't let you talk yourself out of what you actually need. Every tool I use is evidence-based and each conversation is fueled by understanding.

I hold a Master's in Social Work, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Beyond my degree, I'm trained specifically in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy which are three approaches with real research behind them, chosen because each one answers a different piece of what postpartum actually feels like. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in matching the tool to what you're actually carrying.

i work best with:

first-time moms

Everything is new, including the fact that no one warned you it could feel like this. You're allowed to not have it figured out yet.

Not-First-Timers

You've done this before, which is exactly why you know something is different this time and that it's time to find some help.

Truth Seekers

You're tired of "you're doing great" from people who aren't really looking. You want someone who will tell you what's going on.
